Christmas Eve Service

Christmas Eve Service will be held at WECA at 4:00 pm, 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm.  Please come and join us.

 WECA Senior Pastor Glenn Patrick shared a message during the candle lighting service about the light.  The first point was that this dark world needs a light.  Then the light came through Christ Jesus. And as Christians, we will be the light.

Pasko sa WECA Milestone

Pasko sa WECA celebrates its 10th annual event with a record number of guest, a special guest and a diverse attendees including a spacious venue at WECA Auditorium. Parols (lanterns) from the Philippines were used  to decorate the stage and added colours to the night of celebration.

The 10th Pasko sa WECA was held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the auditorium of West Edmonton Christian Assembly. During the initial event, it was held on the hallway by the Kitchen and then at the Conference Room year after year. This year the sign up was a record of 232 guests.  WECA Senior Pastor Glenn Patrick shared a Christmas message, while the master of ceremonies were Rey Rosales and Aileen Mendoza. Foods were ordered from Fat Jakks Restaurant with the following menu: Crispy chichen, Beef steak, Tofu wit Vegetables, Pancit Miki-Bihon, Sweet and sour fish fillet and of course "Lechon" from Rolymie. The kids of WECA did a big contribution to the program from Christmas pageantry and songs while JRAM tambourine dancers performed the dance interpretation. WECA singers and musicians added their Christmas songs in English and Tagalog. As in the past years, the highlight of the program was Christmas carols.  Musical director was Mark Yanez while Décor head and Food captain was Fred Bondoc.We would like to thank everyone who helped, on every committee and the core group of Pinoys at WECA who sacrificially contributed their time, treasure and talent.
