Awarding Ceremonies

It was around 8:00pm, Thursday, May 14, 2015 when the awarding ceremonies started for this year's basketball league attended by around 45 players and guests.  Pastor Denise Kroeker, WECA's life group coordinator welcomed everybody and thanked the volunteers while Pastor Randy Thompson presented a short message.  Pastor Randy shared his testimony on his changed life upon having  a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  He also mentioned the life of Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao and how Manny was transformed into a new person when he accepted Jesus Christ into his life.

2015 WECA Basketball League Final Games

On Thursday, May 14, 2015 final games for this year's WECA basketball League were concluded.  At 5:45pm, Alpha Omega faced the younger team WECA Blue.  During the first half of the game, the Blues outscored their opponent but the Alphas with more energy due to more players finally triumphed over the Blues.  Final score was 68 vs 62 which was only a 6-point lead.  Ryan Palacpac fired a 5-three pointer with a total of 17 points.

The final game of the night was a very intense one between the defending champion Knights and New York Fries. The taller players of NYF and their agility in the court proved them to be this year's champion.  Score was 68 vs 40.
